Trion has been a mill town since the 1840s. Cool Mountain Air gives its homes and families the same hardworking, honest service the town was built on.
Trion was built around a cotton mill. The Trion Factory, started in the 1840s, was the first cotton mill in Northwest Georgia, and the operation that grew from it, now Mount Vernon Mills, has earned the town its nickname as the denim capital of the world. The Chattooga River runs right through this Chattooga County town, and U.S. 27 connects it to Summerville and LaFayette. Cool Mountain Air serves Trion from our base in Adairsville and has cared for Northwest Georgia homes since 1991.
At Cool Mountain Air, you deal with Mike Swiger, the owner. He diagnoses the real problem, explains it in plain English and gives an up-front price before any work starts. We repair all makes and models, install Rheem systems up to 20 SEER with a load calculation on every job, and offer ductless mini-splits and high-velocity systems for older homes that lack ductwork. We also handle water heaters, drains, gas lines and leaks.
Trion's older mill-village homes and river-valley location mean humid summers, chilly winter mornings and houses that weren't designed for central air. Regular tune-ups and properly sized equipment keep them comfortable, and our 24/7 emergency service is there when something fails. Call Mike at 706-331-0939.

"Cool mountain air completed a full swap to an updated unit. To include modifying my duct Work, adding an intake vent and repairing a large amount of what remained. Their work is unmatched and top notch! They are a small family owned company that treats you fair and are upfront and honest. They will do what you ask and not try to push products on you. My new unit works flawlessly and is almost silent compared to what I had. Could not be happier and would highly recommend this company. Don't hesitate and make the call!"
