At the foot of Lookout Mountain near the Alabama line, Menlo homes need heat they can trust. Cool Mountain Air delivers it with owner-led, honest service.
Menlo sits at the base of the Cumberland Plateau in western Chattooga County, just over a mile from the Alabama line. Founder Captain Andrew Lawrence named it after Thomas Edison's Menlo Park, and the town was incorporated in 1903. Georgia 48 climbs from here toward Cloudland atop Lookout Mountain, while Georgia 337 runs northeast through Broomtown Valley toward LaFayette. Cool Mountain Air serves Menlo from our base in Adairsville, continuing the family-owned service we started in 1991.
Living this close to the mountain means heating gets serious attention. Cool Mountain Air handles furnace repair, furnace installation with gas connections done in-house, and heat pump repair and replacement, along with AC service for the humid summer months. Mike Swiger, the owner, diagnoses the real problem, explains it in plain English and gives an up-front price before work begins. We also handle water heaters and gas lines.
Cold air drains off the ridges on winter nights, so a heat pump needs properly working backup heat and a furnace needs to fire every time. We size every Rheem system with a load calculation and offer 24/7 emergency service for those cold-snap breakdowns. Call Mike at 706-331-0939.

"Cool mountain air completed a full swap to an updated unit. To include modifying my duct Work, adding an intake vent and repairing a large amount of what remained. Their work is unmatched and top notch! They are a small family owned company that treats you fair and are upfront and honest. They will do what you ask and not try to push products on you. My new unit works flawlessly and is almost silent compared to what I had. Could not be happier and would highly recommend this company. Don't hesitate and make the call!"
