Marietta mixes historic homes around the Square with offices, shops and neighborhoods of every age. Cool Mountain Air brings family-owned heating and cooling service to all of it.
Marietta has been the county seat of Cobb County since its earliest days, recognized as a village in 1834 and incorporated as a city in 1852. Life here still centers on Marietta Square, where Glover Park hosts the weekly farmers' market and events through the year. Out on U.S. 41 at Roswell Road, the Big Chicken has been a landmark since 1963, and the Marietta campus of Kennesaw State University and Life University bring students from across the country. Cool Mountain Air serves Marietta from our base in Adairsville, bringing family-owned heating and cooling service to the area since 1991.
Marietta has six historic districts, including Church-Cherokee Streets, Whitlock Avenue and Washington Avenue, and many of the homes in them were built long before central air existed. Cutting into plaster and trim for full-size ducts isn't a good option. Our high-velocity small-duct systems run through existing walls and ceilings with very little disruption. We're one of the few HVAC contractors in the region that works on high-velocity systems, including in Marietta. Ductless mini-splits are another good fit for additions and hard-to-cool rooms.
As Cobb's government and business center, Marietta is full of law offices, medical practices, restaurants, churches and shops, many of them in older buildings around the Square and along the main corridors. We provide commercial HVAC repair, maintenance and replacement, and every call reaches Mike, the owner.
Georgia summers in Marietta mean months of heat and humidity, and winter cold snaps put furnaces and heat pumps to work when you least want a breakdown. Newer neighborhoods have their own issues, often equipment that was never sized right. We perform a load calculation on every installation and install Rheem systems up to 20 SEER for steady comfort and lower energy bills.
Marietta families and businesses choose Cool Mountain Air because Mike tells them what's really wrong, in plain English, with an up-front price before work begins. Our technicians are licensed, background-checked and drug-free, and we offer 24/7 emergency service along with plumbing and gas line work. Call Mike at 706-331-0939 for heating and air service in Marietta.

Our customers keep pointing to the same things: honest answers, fair prices and work done right. Here's what a few of them have to say about Cool Mountain Air.
"Mike Swiger is an expert HVAC engineer. I hired him to install a smart thermostat but during installation, he found a completely different issue with my HVAC and fixed it for a very reasonable rate. It was scary because I had not even lived in this house for a month and was worried that I would have to get a whole new system. He's very knowledgeable and explains everything going on with the system and how he fixed it in a way that I could easily understand. I highly recommend Cool Mountain Air to anyone for their heating and cooling needs for their home."
