Out in the country south of Rome, Silver Creek homes need heating, cooling and plumbing that keeps up. Cool Mountain Air handles all three.
Silver Creek takes its name from the stream that winds through southern Floyd County and on into Polk County, and the community has had a post office by that name since 1880. Today this unincorporated area south of Rome, just past Lindale, is a mix of country roads, wooded lots, small farms and newer homes on generous acreage. Families here like being close enough to Rome for errands while keeping a little room to breathe. Cool Mountain Air brings heating, cooling and plumbing service to Silver Creek from Adairsville, as a family-owned company since 1991.
Rural homes come with their own checklist. Some rely on heat pumps for year-round comfort, while others run gas furnaces and gas water heaters that need a safe, properly sized supply. We handle all of it, including gas line installation and repair, and every new system starts with a load calculation so it's sized for the house instead of guessed. Mike Swiger, the owner, answers the phone himself, explains the problem in plain English and quotes an up-front price before work starts.
Open country means more sun on the roof in July and more wind against the walls in January, so systems in Silver Creek earn their keep. A seasonal tune-up helps catch trouble early, and if something fails in the middle of the night, our 24/7 emergency service is there. We repair all makes and models and install Rheem systems backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee on installations. Call Mike at 706-331-0939 to get started.

Our customers keep pointing to the same things: honest answers, fair prices and work done right. Here's what a few of them have to say about Cool Mountain Air.
"Mike Swiger is an expert HVAC engineer. I hired him to install a smart thermostat but during installation, he found a completely different issue with my HVAC and fixed it for a very reasonable rate. It was scary because I had not even lived in this house for a month and was worried that I would have to get a whole new system. He's very knowledgeable and explains everything going on with the system and how he fixed it in a way that I could easily understand. I highly recommend Cool Mountain Air to anyone for their heating and cooling needs for their home."
