Paulding County keeps growing, and Dallas sits right in the middle of it. Cool Mountain Air brings honest heating, cooling and plumbing service to new and longtime homes alike.
Dallas has been the county seat of Paulding County since the 1850s, and the historic Paulding County Courthouse, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, still anchors downtown. The town is named for George Mifflin Dallas, vice president under James K. Polk. In 1864 the Battle of Dallas was fought near downtown, and earthworks from that same week survive at the Pickett's Mill Historic Battlefield Site. Today the Silver Comet Trail brings cyclists and walkers through the county on an old rail line. Cool Mountain Air serves Dallas from our base in Adairsville, as a family-owned company working across Northwest Georgia since 1991.
Dallas has changed a lot as metro Atlanta has spread west. Brand-new subdivisions sit a short way from older homes near downtown and rural properties on wooded acreage. New construction needs equipment sized right from the start, so we run a load calculation on every install and offer Rheem systems up to 20 SEER. Out on rural lots, we handle gas line work and water heaters in-house, so you don't need a second contractor to finish a furnace job.
Downtown shops, offices and restaurants, the growing retail along the main highways, and local campuses of Chattahoochee Technical College and Georgia Highlands College all need dependable climate control. We provide commercial HVAC repair, maintenance and replacement, with direct access to the owner when something goes wrong.
Paulding County summers bring long stretches of heat and humidity, and winter nights can drop well below freezing. Heat pumps that work fine in October can struggle in a January cold snap without properly working backup heat. A fall tune-up checks heat strips, burners and safety controls before you need them most.
Mike Swiger, the owner, answers the phone himself. He diagnoses the real problem, explains it in plain English and gives you an up-front price before any work starts. Our technicians are licensed, background-checked and drug-free, and we provide 24/7 emergency service and plumbing repairs. Call Mike at 706-331-0939 for heating and air service in Dallas.

"Cool mountain air completed a full swap to an updated unit. To include modifying my duct Work, adding an intake vent and repairing a large amount of what remained. Their work is unmatched and top notch! They are a small family owned company that treats you fair and are upfront and honest. They will do what you ask and not try to push products on you. My new unit works flawlessly and is almost silent compared to what I had. Could not be happier and would highly recommend this company. Don't hesitate and make the call!"
