No Heat? No Air? Call Cool Mountain Air 24/7 — Nights, Weekends & Holidays

Nights, Weekends & Holidays

24/7 Emergency HVAC Service

When your heat or air quits in the middle of the night, you need someone who actually picks up the phone. Call Mike anytime at 706-331-0939.

Emergency Heating and Air When You Need It Most

HVAC systems don't break down on a schedule. They quit during a July heat wave, on a January night when the temperature drops into the teens, or on the Saturday of a holiday weekend. Cool Mountain Air offers 24/7 emergency heating and air conditioning service across Adairsville and Northwest Georgia, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Plenty of companies advertise 24/7 service. One customer told us he called the billboard companies with so-called 24/7 service and never heard back, then called Mike and got help. When you call Cool Mountain Air, you reach the owner, and we'll get to you as fast as we can.

We repair heating and cooling systems on all makes and models, and we take no-heat and no-cooling calls seriously. Extreme temperatures can be dangerous for young children, older family members, anyone with health conditions and pets, and we treat those calls with the urgency they deserve.

HVAC Emergencies We Respond To

If your system has stopped working or is acting in a way that worries you, don't wait until morning.

❄️

No Heat

Your furnace or heat pump won't run, or the house keeps getting colder no matter what the thermostat says.

☀️

No Air Conditioning

The AC won't come on or is blowing warm air during dangerous summer heat.

💧

Water Leaking

Water pooling around your indoor unit or dripping through a ceiling can cause damage fast.

🔥

Burning Smells or Loud Noises

Burning or electrical odors, grinding or banging mean you should shut the system off and call.

What to Do Before We Arrive

If you smell gas, leave the house immediately and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. Don't flip switches, use the phone inside or try to find the leak yourself. If your carbon monoxide detector is sounding, get everyone outside and call 911.

For other problems, a few quick checks can sometimes get you running again or give us useful information: make sure the thermostat is set correctly and has working batteries, check that the breaker hasn't tripped, and look at your air filter. A badly clogged filter can shut a system down.

If you smell burning, hear grinding or see water leaking, turn the system off at the thermostat to prevent further damage, then call 706-331-0939. Mike will talk you through it and get help on the way.

Emergency HVAC FAQ

Are you really available 24/7?

Yes. Cool Mountain Air offers emergency heating and air conditioning service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights, weekends and holidays. Call 706-331-0939.

What counts as an HVAC emergency?

No heat in cold weather, no cooling in dangerous heat, water leaking from your system, burning smells and a system that won't turn on are all good reasons to call. If you're not sure, call and ask. Mike will help you decide whether it can wait until morning.

What should I do if I smell gas?

Leave the house right away and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. Don't use light switches, appliances or your phone inside the house. Once the gas company has made the home safe, we can help with the repair.

Do you handle emergencies for businesses?

Yes. We provide emergency service for commercial heating and air conditioning as well as homes. See our Commercial HVAC page for more.

Can I do anything while I wait?

Check the thermostat settings and batteries, make sure the breaker hasn't tripped, and replace a dirty filter. If you hear grinding, smell burning or see water leaking, turn the system off to prevent further damage.
